The Yesan Jangteo Three Kingdoms Festival, first held in 2017, revolves around the “three countries” representing Yesan:chrysanthemums (국화), Korean rice soup (국밥), and noodles (국수). Visitors can enjoy the scent of autumn at the festival, which showcases a variety of chrysanthemums and flower arrangements. Visitors can also taste the steaming rice soup from Baek Jong-won's national soup street and see the traditional method of drying noodle dough. In addition to this, there are cultural performances, experiential events, Baek Jong-won's food market, and promotions and sales of agricultural specialty products to satisfy the senses of visitors.
The Good Brothers Festival is based on the real-life story of Lee Sung-man and Lee Soon, two brothers from Yesan. The festival honors the deep bond between the siblings, the virtue of filial piety towards parents, and aims to remind people of the love in families. The first Yesan Apple Festival was held in 1983 to promote Yesan's yellow soil apples, known for having the best taste nationwide, and advance Yesan County's culture and arts. Since 1992, it alternated biennially with the Gunmin Sports Festival. However, it has been held annually since 2019.
The Yesan Stork Festival, Korea's leading eco-cultural event that seeks to raise awareness about the value and importance of the stork, designated as Natural Monument No. 199.
